We have all heard the (under-reported) statistic that 22 Veterans per day are lost to suicide. Many of us were taught to say “Thank you for your service” but we need to go beyond platitudes. You have done just that by providing funding to help Veterans to deal with the physical and emotional wounds of war.

Since Mission Flexible is a small organization, we have very few operating costs. Your entire donation goes towards providing Veterans with tools and experiences to help them manage the daily challenges of depression, anxiety, flashbacks, insomnia, moral injury, chronic pain, and much more. The retreats offer the community, connection, and camaraderie that has been missing since their time in service.

Mission Flexible remains a support system for Vets long after the retreat ends. Veterans who participate in our programs share the concrete coping skills they learned, so your donation actually helps even more Veterans, as the support ripples out.

Many organizations won’t do multi-day retreats because they are expensive. And they are. But the impact is profound, and we can do so much more in a three-day intensive retreat than what can be done in months of weekly programs. As one of our Vets said: “Well, in just a few words: you saved my life.”
