The Wise Mosaic Arts Series: Movement Event

Celebrate the power of movement to energize, uplift, and connect our community! This dynamic experience will feature performances from a variety of dance traditions, followed by an interactive movement session where everyone is invited to participate.

1:40 PM – Doors open
2:00–3:00 PM – Live Dance Performances
3:00–4:00 PM – Interactive Dance Fitness Experience (come ready to move!)

From West African and Indian dance to modern and stepping, this event highlights how movement can be a powerful tool for expression, culture, and wellness.

The Wise Mosaic Arts Series is designed to explore how the arts support mental health and well-being. Through movement, we create space for joy, release, connection, and community.

Tickets: $15 per person

Featuring Performances By:

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Step Team – high-energy stepping rooted in tradition, rhythm, and brotherhood
Hixon Dance – expressive modern dance performing ensemble exploring storytelling through movement
Thiossane Institute – vibrant West African dancers and drummers celebrating culture, history, and community
Krutaanjali – dynamic classical Indian dance in the Kathak style

The event will conclude with an interactive, all-ages movement experience led by a dance fitness instructor. Come ready to move!

Scholarship Tickets

We believe cost should never be a barrier to experiencing the arts. With the help of generous Patrons and Sponsors, scholarship tickets are available for students, families, and community members who might not otherwise attend.
