Mother Fund

We are seeking $10K for immediate support for African-heritage mothers in our Grief to Action network.

Our initial goal serves to expand their support network, and provides transportation, food, basic supplies, emotional support, and advocacy.

Thank you all for the immense amounts of support you already give – your ongoing support and previous donations literally saved the lives. Knowing what to do is only part of the battle, having financial and communal resources brings support to life. Thank you in advance for supporting these mothers and their children in early stages of parenthood – continuing to raise them in an environment where they feel seen and held in systems that dehumanize and oppress.

Grief to Action intends to continue building a birthing support fund and network as it is clear the number of BIPOC birthing people needing doulas, midwives, touch activists, food support, and advocacy as they go through their birthing and early parenthood journey. We will do everything we can with the resource around us to fight and heal for these young lives as they come onto the earth. We invite your minds, hearts, and spirits to be with us in this journey.
