Maria was a single mom with two little boys and a baby on the way. After escaping a violent relationship, she was doing everything she could to build a safe new life for her children. When Maria went into labor, though, she had no one to care for her boys. She was terrified she would lose them to foster care.

But God made a way through His people.

An Alongside Families volunteer Host Family opened their home to Maria’s boys, and a Family Coach walked beside her with practical help, encouragement, and care. Just a few days later, Maria was back home with her children. Together.
