For over a decade, Movement is Life has been at the forefront of a pressing issue-the urgent need to eliminate healthcare disparities disproportionately affecting underserved communities.

May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. While we encourage everyone to make movement a part of their healthy lifestyle, we recognize that those suffering from joint pain are often caught in a vicious cycle where joint pain leads to limited mobility and lack of physical activity, which leads to obesity, which leads to more joint pain. Help us break this vicious cycle by supporting Operation Change, our community-based program changing the lives of underserved women experiencing joint pain and limited mobility through motivation, education, and movement.

We focus particularly on African American, Latina, and rural women in disadvantaged communities. Through education, community programs, advocacy at the national level, and so much more, we are working tirelessly to move the needle toward progress.
