Your partnership through support to the Movement Frontlines Fund will:
Strengthen Leadership: Hire BIPOC leadership for the Movement Frontlines Program that priorities four critical frontlines, shared below.
Enhance Safety: Provide free security, safety and deescalation trainings, and legal support to frontline organisers and community members.
Empower Communities: Fund Seed Grants for small, frontline community organizations brave enough to take a stand where they are and build the networks we need to get through the years ahead.
The Movement Frontlines Program that will be funded by your support will prioritize 4 frontlines facing increasing attack. Join us to:
Protect Climate land and water protectors from the promised, unbounded “liquid gold” greed grab that harms people and planet and propels climate change
Protect Indigenous women, girls and Two Spirits from escalating, targeted, epidemic violence
Protect women and gender expansive people from diminishing body and gender sovereignty with the ongoing crackdown on health choice and care
Protect BIPOC and migrants from violence, fear and unchecked racism as they are targeted under Project 2025 as a consequence of November’s presidential election
These are the frontlines we must protect. We don’t depend—or ask for—funds from the federal government, because the federal government has harmed our communities. We depend on you.
We know how support of any level can make the difference. We hold an abundance—not a scarcity—mindset, remaining steadfast in our commitments even as media attention shifts to new crises. This month we are distributing $10,000 in Seed Grants to 6 community organizations still serving families challenged to recover from the devastation of Hurricanes Milton and Helene. We know we will need to do more. These Seed Grants are more than funding—they are messages of encouragement and can make the difference between ongoing work, or its end.
Sometimes it takes knowing someone who believes in you to tell you to keep going while welcoming you into a community of support and care. It feels great, it’s funded by you, and we are so grateful!
Together, let’s hold the frontlines when January begins as future ancestors for future generations. Please join us!
