When I accepted the role of CEO at Tri-Town YMCA, it was because I was inspired by the incredible stories I heard from our families, staff, and volunteers. Every day, I see firsthand how our programs change lives—how a scholarship can open the door to summer camp for a child, or how after-school care can give working parents peace of mind.

We may be a small YMCA but we more than make up for our size in importance to the community. Thanks to the support of neighbors like you, this year we have:

• Cared for over 810 children in enrichment programs after school and during the summer

• Delivered over 44,000 hours in social emotional learning curriculum and over 340 free mental health counseling sessions to local kids

• Provided financial assistance to over 300 families, ensuring everyone can access our quality enrichment programs after school and during the summer season

• Provided 44,500 meals/snacks to kids

• Certified nearly 180 youths with essential, life-saving skills through CPR, First Aid, AED & Babysitters Training

• Activated dozens of middle schoolers in local community service projects, including keeping our 24/7 mini-food pantry well stocked

• Collaborated with over 125 local organizations to serve our community members, including Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative projects

But behind every story of success, there’s a story of need. This year, 60% of the children in our programs require financial assistance. That’s why, on this Giving Tuesday, I’m asking for your help.

Your gift today will provide scholarships for families who otherwise couldn’t afford to participate. You’ll help a child discover their potential, make new friends, and build the confidence that lasts a lifetime.
