Move Your Way for Accessible Play
Friday 12:50 PM - Sunday 12:50 PM EDT
This event is virtual.
From July 15th -July 31st, you can support our mission of accessible play by participating in our first "Move Your Way" event. The rules (or lack thereof) are simple: move in a way that works for you, for as long as you want, wherever you want. Participants who purchase a paid ticket will receive a t-shirt-- register early to receive your t-shirt in time for the event! Wear your t-shirt or other FairPlay swag while you move. Share a picture with the FairPlay community by tagging @fairplayorg on Instagram or emailing your photos directly to our team: [email protected]
StoryFairPlay is a women-led, speech-language pathologist founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to make play accessible and affordable for all children, including kids with disabilities who may not be able to play with toys as they come off-the-shelf. Our team creates free and low-cost adaptive toy libraries for schools, clinics, and other facilities so that children have access to a variety of toys that suit their evolving interests and needs. We also host workshops to teach others how to adapt toys for their own children, students, or patients. Learn more about FairPlay here: www.fairplaylibraries.org
