Your donations are essential for Sammie's Friends to continue to care for our animals, because the revenue we receive from Nevada County does not cover all of the costs we incur for running the County Shelter. This is where you come in. Your donations allow us to provide medical care for shelter animals and distribute vouchers to our community to help offset the costs of spay and neuter procedures. In addition to celebrating our accomplishments saving more animals than we ever have before, we have built a committed team of staff and volunteers under the leadership of Fran Cole, our Executive Director. Our team is fully engaged and looking forward to another year giving all we can to the animals of Nevada County, focused and dedicated to meeting our mission.
