The Drone Donation Request

The OR&W Fire District is a combination department located in Shadyside Ohio. We provide fire, EMS and rescue services to our citizens. We cover 37 square miles covering the village of Shadyside and Mead Township in Belmont County Ohio. There are 5,700 residents in our fire district. We responded to 1692 incidents in 2024. We provide mutual aid to multiple fire and EMS agencies in our area. We are a combination department with ten full time, fifteen part time and twenty volunteer members. We are one of three full time fire departments in Belmont County. Providing us a drone would be beneficial because we are staffed around the clock. We would be available to respond all hours of the day. We’ve had multiple search and rescue missions and a couple of fires that’s drone would have been beneficial.
