MS Run the US exists to help people reclaim their power among the uncertainty of multiple sclerosis.

MS can take away mobility, independence, and function. We run because we believe there is something powerful about using what our bodies can do to support people navigating a disease that can change what their bodies are able to do.

That belief has been at the heart of MS Run the US since 2009, when founder Ashley Schneider decided to use her love of running to make a difference for a disease that had profoundly impacted her family. In 2010, she ran 3,288 miles across America—and one runner eventually became a nationwide community.

Today, MS Run the US is powered by runners and supporters who choose to challenge themselves for something bigger. From our 3,260-mile Ultra Relay across America to marathons and endurance events around the country, we move with purpose and raise funds to create meaningful impact for people affected by MS.

So, where does the money go?

Funds raised by our community help people living with MS right now—providing financial assistance for mobility equipment, home modifications, and urgent needs that can improve independence and daily life.

We invest in research focused on mobility, function, exercise, lifestyle, and quality of life for people living with MS.

We build community and wellbeing, creating opportunities for people affected by MS to move, connect, belong, and know they aren't facing this disease alone.

And every mile helps raise awareness, bringing the realities of MS into communities across the country and inspiring more people to join the fight.
