Ministry Training Source and Dr. Charlotte McCorquodale have been studying pastoral leaders serving in ministries to youth and young adults since 1999. As you know, we are at a critical time where many young people are leaving the faith, and now, more than ever, having people to lead youth and young adult ministry efforts is essential. Yet our recent research shows ministry leadership in this area is experiencing many vulnerabilities impacting its stability. Next year, with Ministry Training Source, Dr. McCorquodale will lead a team of experienced researchers to conclude this 25-year longitudinal study with a national online survey of pastoral leaders serving in this field of Catholic pastoral ministry leaders, youth, and young adults serving in parishes, dioceses, schools, campuses, organizations, and movements. We aim to raise $25,000 to assist with some expenses for this $85,000 research project.
