Murfreesboro Rescue Mission: Capital Campaign
Building the Future of Hope
Murfreesboro Rescue Mission is actively moving from vision to reality.
In the past year, MRM has:
Served over 1,700 meals
Distributed 230 bedding kits
Facilitated 1,500+ nights of lodging through community partnerships
Supported over 200 individuals during Coldest Nights shelter season
Provided 200+ hours of counseling support
Helped place individuals into temporary and permanent housing in partnership with local organizations
Where We Are Now
✓ Community partnerships established
✓ 16-unit apartment complex secured for affordable housing
✓ One-acre property acquired for future shelter site
Zoning & site planning currently in progress
MRM is preparing to launch a multi-year Capital Campaign to construct a 117-bed shelter that will provide safe housing and structured support programs for individuals actively working toward stability.
Why Give to the Building Fund?
Your gift helps:
Advance construction and development planning
Prepare the property and infrastructure needed to open the future shelter
Strengthen partnerships that move individuals from crisis to stability
Sustain seasonal shelter operations while we build
Build the physical foundation for life-restoring shelter and support programs
Together, we are restoring dignity and rebuilding lives — one person, one placement, one step forward at a time.
Sincerely,
Ed Grimes, Executive Director, Founder
