Mutt Strut is CCHS's annual dog-walk fundraiser & celebration of ALL THINGS DOG!  Join us for an afternoon of fun...

Mutt Strut is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and we can't do it without YOU!  Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help fund the care of homeless pets at the Champaign County Humane Society.

Why is your support so crucial?
• CCHS is not funded by any local, state, county, or federal government entity, nor any national humane organization. We rely solely on donations from generous supporters in our community – like you!

• We are the only open-admission animal shelter in our area. That means we accept ALL owner-relinquished pets, regardless of age or medical condition. We are the only place for pet owners to turn to when there are no other options.

FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES

Raise the following and receive:

$50+ level: 1 t-shirt, 1 event goodie bag

$250+ level: 1 hooded sweatshirt, 1 t-shirt, 1 event goodie bag

$500+ level: 2 hooded sweatshirts, 2 t-shirts, 2 event goodie bags

Top Fundraiser: 2 sweatshirts, 2 t-shirts, an event goodie bag, and a goodie bag with surprise treats!
PLUS, your pet’s photo featured on Triptych Brewery’s Fall Brew,
AND a cozy blanket featuring your pet’s photo
so you can curl up and take naps together.

The top fundraiser will be announced prior to the start of Mutt Strut at Crystal Lake Park in Urbana on Saturday, May 7, and will lead the group in the walk around the park! The deadline for fundraising is FRIDAY, MAY 6, at 11:59 PM. If you have been collecting donations that have not come in through Givebutter, contact Sarah Sheppard at [email protected] so we can make sure they count toward your total.

After creating your personalized fundraising page, you will still need to REGISTER for the event.  Clicking the red "Register/Donate" button will be one of the first options you are given.  If you wait to register, that's okay! Just be sure to return to your page and register before the event on May 7, because the $30 registration fee will be applied to your fundraising total! ("Pro"-tip: If you plan on fundraising, create your page FIRST and register for the event SECOND.)

Next, share your newly created page on your social media with your friends, family, co-workers, classmates, enemies, frenemies... EVERYBODY!

I JUST WANT TO ATTEND MUTT STRUT WITH MY DOG: If you would like to attend Mutt Strut, but don't want to create a fundraising page, click on the red "Register/Donate" button to get started. The registration fee is $30 if you sign up before the day of the event and $35 on the day of the event. Walk-ups are welcome!
