Maker Works has a unique opportunity to bring a Bernina Q 20 Longarm Quilting Machine with a 10-foot studio frame into our shop. Making professional-quality quilting accessible to artists, students, hobbyists, and small businesses in our community.
This is a powerful, precision tool that opens up new possibilities for creative expression and entrepreneurship. Whether you’re finishing a family quilt, launching a custom quilting business, or just exploring a new craft, this machine is built to deliver.
But we need your help to get it up and running by September 2025. Our goal is to raise $1,000, which will help us:
Update the Textiles Area to accommodate the 10-foot frame
Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure safe, effective maintenance, use, and teaching
Run pilot classes to fine-tune the learning experience and ensure we deliver excellent training
1. Pre-Purchase the Checkout Class
Reserve your spot early! You'll be among the first to get trained on the machine AND receive a free day pass to use it.
2. Make a Direct Donation (right here!)
Every dollar brings us closer. Your support helps build access to tools that spark creativity and opportunity.
3. Share This Page
Help us spread the word! Share with a friend, quilting group, or local maker. You never know who might be excited to support this project!
Thanks for helping make this powerful resource available to our community
