Join us in making a meaningful difference in the Dominican Republic through the Dana Juett Residency, a renowned program empowering young professionals to become leaders in venture philanthropy! Inspired by the philanthropic legacy of the late Dana Juett and founded by Social Venture Partners of Dallas, this unique program offers a hands-on residency experience that leverages the strengths and talents of young professionals to amplify the capacity of organizations and causes they are passionate about.

Unlike other programs, the Dana Juett Residency goes beyond volunteerism or grant making, providing practical learning and experiential opportunities for residents to create something meaningful and sustainable in their communities.

This year Dana Juett Residency is raising funds for the following Dominican Republic organizations:

Mariposa DR Foundation

Mission: We create sustainable solutions to end generational poverty by educating & empowering girls and inspiring the international community to join the global movement.

InspireDR

Mission: A team committed to inspiring boys on their journey to become responsible men, husbands, and fathers by providing afterschool and summer programs for at-risk boys to learn practical life skills and positive values.

Chocal Inc

Mission: A woman-owned and operated cocoa farm set on advancing the opportunity for women in the area and dedicated to sustainability.

Monkey Jungle DR

Mission: Monkey Jungle was established by the Haitian and Dominican Assistance Corporation (HADAC). It’s a Monkey and Zip line attraction that raises money for HADAC, a non-profit corporation focusing on primary medical and dental care, education, agriculture, and vocational training in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Dove Youth Development

Mission: Dove Youth Development (formerly Dove Missions) is a center that offers after-school programs and classes for the youth and their families. Without the help of this program, many of these children, as young as six, would be forced into prostitution, drug dealing, or other illegal activities to help financially support their families. Here at Dove Youth Development, we empower our youth to be beacons of light and carriers of change for themselves, and also for their communities.

This year our cohort is cranking up the heat with an internal competition! We've divided into two teams, each led by an SVP Dallas Staff member as the 'representative.' The twist? The representative of the team that raises the least amount of money will get pied in the face! Remember to assign your donation to a specific team when contributing.
