As a young Muslim high school student I aspire to follow the footsteps of the leaders in my community and throughout the world dedicated to bringing positive change and development. I recently have been accepted into the Muslim Youth Leadership Program run by CAIR-Ca which takes place in Sacramento at the Capitol Building. During this four day program I will be able to connect with new Muslim students, meet lawmakers and leaders throughout the state, and learn life skills that will allow me to improve my leadership and bring positive change to the community. However in order to attend, I will need to raise $800 to subsidize the cost as CAIR spends over $2000 per student to attend this program.
