Hello, my name is Buster. As you know, my Pug breed was raised to be on the laps of Chinese Royalty. We provided companionship, and cuddleship. And we drew laughs with our antics. But then I came along. My parents adopted me to provide companionship to my big sister, a beautiful Golden Retriever, named Bailey Rae. My dad had Pugs before, and always described our breed as being “big dogs in little bodies”. My dad said he had no idea how big I was, in my little package. My sister was wary of me of me at first, but after a couple days of insistence, she grew to love me very much. I protect my big sister from all comers! I try not to snore too much (I might fail at that sometimes), but I wake my mom and dad up with the biggest kisses they’ve ever had!! I see them smiling and laughing first thing in the morning, and I know I’ve done my job. When we go for walks in the park, I try to cover all that stinky smell from other dogs, with my own scent. I also try to poop way off the path, so mommy and daddy don’t have to pick it up, but they do anyway. People stop to tell me how handsome I am, and some even take my picture. I pause for a minute, but I am on a bigger mission. As we wrap up our walks, I am happy that I made so many people smile. And just as important, every dog I met, and they’re all bigger than I, walk off with a big smile on their faces. Now it’s time for mommy to give me belly rubs before night night. Thank you all!
