Greer Education Foundation Year Round Champaign

The Greater Greer Education Foundation was created in 2009 when the Executive Board of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce voted to create a not-for-profit 501 C(3) focusing on Education. Margaret Burch, an education advocate who served the Greer area on the Greenville County School Board for 20 years, was asked to serve as the first Executive Director. In 2011, she was elected chairman of the Board, a position she held until 2015.

Each year, the Foundation gives over $40,000 through grants and scholarships to both students and teaches advancing education through the classroom or continuing education.

We rely on your donations to make a difference in the lives of students and teachers. You can choose any amount you want and set up a one-time or recurring donation. All the funds will go directly to our Education Foundation bank account. Please share our campaign with your friends and family.

Thank you for your generosity and your commitment to education. Together, we can make a positive impact in our community.

Mission: To gather resources and provide support to enrich and extend educational opportunities in the Greater Greer Area.
