Medina Bands 2025 Middle School Summer Band

The Medina Band Program is pleased to offer again our exciting Middle School Summer Band Program.  The purpose of this unique opportunity is to give our young instrumental music students an opportunity for further musical development of concepts and skills presented during the previous school year.  A performance will finish the week’s fun filled activities and rehearsals.  It is the goal of the camp to provide a positive outcome for all the students involved.  Along with learning six to seven band pieces in a full band setting and small group sectionals, the week spent together promises to be quite rewarding and fun!!

Eligibility

  • The Summer Band is open to all students who are presently enrolled in 6th through 8th grade band.

Schedule

  • The Summer Band will take place the week of June 2nd through June 6th.
  • There will be five 2 hour instructional sessions Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 10:30 A.M.
  • The Concert is scheduled for Friday evening, June 6th at 7:00 P.M.

Location

  • All morning practices will take place at A.I. Root Middle School.
  • The Friday Concert will take place in the A.I. Root Middle School Gym.

Cost

  • The cost per student is $95.00 for the week.  
  • The registration fee covers the instructional sessions, the concert and a summer band t-shirt, participation gift, and materials.
