Support the Children of Nepal: Project Red Panda

Five years ago, Tenjing Gurung and I began raising funds to support rural villages among Nepal. What started as small, heartfelt projects: supporting schools, providing bikes, and donating winter supplies — grew into something bigger than either of us imagined. Together, we co-founded Project Red Panda to make this work official in Nepal, rooted in joy, dignity & opportunity for children.

To strengthen this vision, I also created Golden Eyes Project as a registered nonprofit in the United States. Golden Eyes Project allows me to combine my passions for art, design & radical compassion with direct action, serving as a channel to raise funds for empowering initiatives like Project Red Panda.

Nepal has held a very special place in my heart since I first visited in June of 2019. Every child we positively impact there reminds me why this work matters: because every child deserves the opportunities necessary to unlock their ultimate potential!

What Project Red Panda Provides for Children:

• Bicycles: so children can get to school more easily & safely

• Clothing & Shoes: warm, durable clothing to help keep kids in school year-round

• School Supplies: notebooks, pencils, textbooks,art supplies, learning games & other learning materials

• Sports Equipment: to encourage play, teamwork & physical development

• Medical Supplies: supporting children’s health

• Mentorship Programs: guidance to help children grow in confidence & character

• School Equipment: learning tools & other essentials requested by teaching staff
