Name-a-Purr: Help Name Our Next Rescue 🐾

Every cat who enters our rescue begins a brand-new chapter—and you can be part of that story from the very beginning.

Through our Name-a-Purr fundraiser, supporters can donate to submit names for incoming rescue cats and kittens—or even name an entire litter. Your gift directly supports lifesaving medical care, food, safe shelter, and the specialized support many of our most vulnerable cats need.

As a special thank you, we’ll send you a photo of the cat or kitten you helped name and share their story with our community on social media.

Donation Levels

$25 — Name a Rescue Cat or Kitten
Submit one name to be used for a future rescue.

$75 — Priority Name Placement
Your submitted name moves to the top of our Name Bank and will be used sooner.

$150 — Name a Bonded Pair
Name two bonded cats or siblings. Perfect for matching or themed names.

$300 — Name a Small Full Litter (1-4 Kittens)
Name an entire litter of kittens. You may choose a theme or individual names.

$500 — Name a Large Full Litter (5+ Kittens)
Name an entire litter of kittens. You may choose a theme or individual names.

What You’ll Receive

• Your chosen name used for a rescue cat or kitten

• A photo of the cat or kitten you named

• A social media introduction featuring their name and story

• The joy of knowing you helped save a life

How It Works

• Names are added to our Name Bank in the order donations are received (unless Priority placement is selected)

• Names are assigned as new cats and kittens enter our care

• Litter sponsors will be contacted when a litter becomes available

• You will receive a photo and notification once your name has been assigned

Name Guidelines & Rules

To protect the animals, our organization, and our community, all submitted names must follow these guidelines:

Names Must Be:

• Family-friendly

• Respectful and appropriate for public use

• Suitable for use in adoption profiles, medical records, and public postings

Names Cannot Include:

• Profanity, vulgar, or offensive language

• Hate speech or discriminatory language of any kind

• Sexual, explicit, or inappropriate content

• Political slogans, political figures, or politically affiliated messaging

• Religious messaging intended to promote or oppose beliefs

• Names promoting violence or illegal activity

• Any name deemed inappropriate or unsuitable at the rescue’s discretion

Additional Terms

• Our rescue reserves the right to approve, modify, or decline submitted names.

• If a name cannot be used, donors will be contacted to provide an alternative.

• Naming assignments occur based on intake timing and animal needs.

• Donations are non-refundable and directly support animal care.

• Naming does not grant ownership or adoption rights.
