I am so excited to share with you what we’ve been up to at Namesake Properties!

Recently I had the distinct honor and privilege of graduating from the best business school, Joseph Business School. During my time there, God began to shift my desire and the mission of my company. After I successfully completed the program, God gave me the idea to create a program for our residents that would financially empower them and give them the tools to prosper. My company, Namesake Properties, is a residential rental company that offers high-quality, affordable housing. We are dedicated to providing the best housing experience to our tenants regardless of income or location. But, as my company’s mission began to shift, I no longer desired to JUST offer housing. I desired to make an impact in the lives of families that would last for generations. To equip others with the tools and resources needed to prosper the way God intended. Our program, Road to Restoration (R2R) coupled with our housing initiative, is designed to do just that.

How will funds be used?

Funds will be used to cover daily operations and costs associated with implementing the program across the initial cities of Portsmouth and Norfolk, Virginia. Activities include curriculum and program development, building partnerships, meeting with curriculum development advisors, hiring key personnel, copyright protection for curriculum, and more! It is a GOD-sized vision, but I am thrilled about this journey AND the lives that will be impacted.

June 2025- We’re thrilled to officially announce that the Road to Restoration Program has LAUNCHED!

After years of development, your support has helped turn this vision into a reality. The online course is now live and available for free to low-income families across the country. The program equips participants with the tools to:

Renew their mindset
Build real-world budgeting skills
Repair credit and reduce debt
Create multiple income streams
Begin the path to building lasting wealth

Thanks to your generous donations, we’re not just launching—we’re growing. We’re actively:
Networking with landlords and housing providers to make the program available to their tenants
Connecting with local and federal government officials to align with housing self-sufficiency goals
Spreading the word to ensure the program reaches the families who need it most

We are bringing the R2R program to the world-wide web!

March 2025- Greetings to all of our supporters!

We have an awesome update to share. Since the creation of our program we had to halt some of our efforts. As the spouse of an active duty servicemember, when duty calls, we must answer! My family had the pleasure of relocating to a different state with my husband. While I was overjoyed to accompany him once more, I realized I needed to shift my original plan of how I was going to deliver the R2R program. While praying and meditating one morning God gave me the idea to take it to the web and create an online course!

This decision has absolutely expanded my vision for the program and it's ability to reach millions of families globally! What is also great about this shift is that it doesn't matter where we move (or how often), operations will continue without interruption.

Since this shift we have created a workbook that will be used to accompany the online course or can be purchased as a stand-alone resource.

Our goal is to have the program up and running by the end of April 2025!
