Working together side by side with corporations, like-minded community groups, faith-based organizations, schools, individual volunteers, etc., GNHFH strives to develop better, affordable living conditions which will lead to improved health, stronger childhood development, and the ability — and financial flexibility — to make forward-looking choices.

We partner with families whose income is above public housing guidelines but are unable to qualify for conventional mortgages. Qualified families are given a hand up (not a hand out). Habitat home buyers earn the homes they build through sweat equity and by repaying affordable mortgages as well as paying city/town property taxes and homeowner insurance premiums.

Habitat is committed to developing and uplifting families and communities in addition to constructing houses.

Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity serves the local communities of Amherst, Brookline, Greenville, Hollis, Hudson, Lyndeborough, Mason, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, Nashua, Pelham, Wilton and Windham
