The Free and Independent Nation of Cherut was born out of a deep desire to reclaim our power, preserve our cultures, and build a future of true liberation. Our journey began with the belief that every Black and Indigenous person deserves the opportunity to live freely, prosper, and thrive. The Nation of Cherut is more than just a nation—it is a movement rooted in spirituality, self-determination, self-care, sustainability, and solidarity. 

Our foundation is built on the values of creating sustainable systems and development to save ourselves. We aspire to create a society where our people are not only empowered but also equipped to face the challenges of today and tomorrow’s world. Our goal is to provide education, economic opportunities, access to health and wellness, and ensure that future generations can live in a world where they are free to explore their full potential without barriers.
