Back in September 2023, a few days before William's 4th birthday, he was diagnosed with Autism. We knew it was coming. We were ready for the results of all the evaluations, the explanations, and even the diagnosis. What we didn't realize was how hard it would be to hear. The future for our son wouldn’t be the one we fantasized and daydreamed about, instead it would look much different.
As a family we are now learning as much as we can about autism and how William's beautiful brain works.
We are fundraising to help support the Autism Society of MN. Their mission is to create connections, empowering everyone in the autism community with the resources needed to live fully. We have experienced that the demand far outweighs resources when it comes to autism support. We want to do our part to help everyone learn and grow in understanding Autism, and one step at a time we can help change the world for William.
