Why is NBOM Hosting a Masquerade Gala?

No, we’re not celebrating a holiday. We’re opening the doors — behind the masks — to reveal the heart of who we are and what New Beginnings Outreach Ministries (NBOM) truly does. This is more than just an event — it’s an invitation for the community to see us, to learn about the mission we’ve quietly carried out since 2007.

For over 17 years, NBOM has walked alongside hundreds of women, single moms, and families, providing housing, food, and essential items — but most importantly, hope and guidance. We equip those who come to us for help with the tools to create lasting, positive change in their lives. And we don’t stop there — we walk with them, coaching them on how to use those tools to build a better future.

Our ministry offers:

Budgeting support
Counseling for life’s hard questions
Mentorship rooted in identity and purpose
Spiritual guidance based on what God says about them — not what the world says

We believe every individual is more than their past or their present struggles. Our mission is to help them discover who they were truly created to be, and to live the abundant life God intended.

We operate with 100% volunteers, and over 96% of all funds go directly to the needs of those we serve. Every dollar raised from this Gala helps continue this important work.

For years, NBOM has served quietly — like a “stealth bomber” — delivering hope and support while protecting the dignity of those we help. But now, we’re also stepping into the light — still a stealth bomber, but also a B-52, boldly advancing with compassion, strength, and purpose.

The Gems and Jewels Masquerade Gala is our moment to unmask the mission, celebrate what God is doing, and invite others to join the journey.
