NB Thunder Football Season Registration

Player registration for the 2025 season of NB Thunder Football is now open. Registration is for eligible boys with a serious intent to play competitive 6-man football in the fall. Season registration invites players to the NB Thunder's first week of practice. Rosters will be established at the end of week one. If any player is not retained to the roster, their fees will be refunded after that determination.

Thunder Football participates in TAIAO at both the high school and middle school levels. The regular season runs from August through October, and the playoffs occur in November. Season costs are $650 for high school and $450 for middle school. Register and pay in full for Thunder football before July 1 for a $50 discount.

NB Thunder is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aimed at creating and improving access to educational and recreational opportunities for homeschoolers in the New Braunfels area. The organization was founded in 2022 by a collaboration of homeschool parents who sought to replicate the athletic and extracurricular opportunities that could only be found in San Antonio or Austin.

In just three short years, the organization has grown beyond our wildest dreams. What began as an idea to offer competitive volleyball has blossomed into a vibrant community of more than 300 families participating in eight different interscholastic sports and extracurricular activities, such as our Homecoming Dance, Spring Picnic, and End of Year Splash.

We are thrilled and blessed to be able to serve the community in this way.
