I am asking you to help me reach a personal goal of $10,000 and I know we can do it!  The NDA and the Sacramento Society of the National Dental Association are a 501c3 nonprofit organizations of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental students, and families who are dedicated to improving the health of our communities.  

This year the NDA will install its 97^th president, Dr. Pamela Alston, an Oakland native and a champion for quality dental health for marginalized communities.  She is dedicated to encouraging dental graduates to return to their communities to improve the dental health of the underserved.  That includes working in community clinics, hospitals, private practice, dental schools, governmental agencies, and the prison system.  But the high cost of dental school makes it hard for Black/students of color to start and complete dental school!  

WE need your help to raise funds for scholarships for dental students, recent graduates, organizations serving our community as well as for the NDA that supports dentists of color.  Will you tell others about her career of sacrifice as well as her goal to raise five $10,000 scholarships to put a dent in the $400,000 debt that each dental student incurs today?
