This year we are celebrating 25 years of working to keep downtown Brattleboro vibrant and thriving! Fueled by passion and purpose, Downtown Brattleboro Alliance (DBA) is a small, “can-do” organization that continually champions the town, promotes the good work of others, and brings our community together.

We believe that a thriving downtown translates into a healthy and prosperous region.

We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization with 1.5 staff members and a team of volunteers. The support we receive from the community is essential to our success. We receive a small amount of funds from the Town of Brattleboro, but most of our funding is grants, sponsors, and generous donors like yourself!

What do we do?

Here are some of the programs that DBA is doing to support our mission to “nurture and support the vitality of downtown Bratteboro through community and economic development.” Most are free of charge to the public, but rely on enormous resources to present.

What else do we do, you ask? We work with many local partners to:

Create a safe and healthy downtown
Bring new merchants and vendors to our downtown
Provide education and collaboration opportunities to our downtown merchants
Market downtown Brattleboro and the community as a great place to visit
Highlight many promotions throughout the year: Plaid Friday, Shop Small Saturday, Holly Lights, our Sidewalk Sale, Women in Business, and so much more!

Our talent is making this all look effortless; in reality it takes effort, time, and money. Your generous contribution allows us to continue this important work, while offering FREE programming to the community that encourages folks to visit downtown adding to its vibrancy.
