New Joiner Fee

Welcome to Troop 73!

Our troop provides Scout handbooks, new-joiner neckerchiefs, blue "official" troop neckerchiefs (upon completion of Scout rank), neckerchief slides, Troop 73 unit numeral patches, and patrol patches for our new joiners. The total cost of these items is about $80, which is partially defrayed by the troop. Families are asked to make a one-time payment of $50 to "cover the gap." (Note: Those who have already acquired the Scout handbook on their own are asked to pay $25.)
