New Electronic Sign Fund

The marquee-style sign in front of our church building on Trolley Road was struck by a car being chased by police back in mid-June. The sign and its supporting structure were damaged. Our insurance has covered the essential cost of our old sign. Still, we want to take this opportunity to replace the sign with an electronic one that will allow us to change its message from inside the building without someone having to haul a ladder and letters outside to take down the old message and put up a new one. 

The estimated cost of a modern electronic sign is more than $24,000. Before this online campaign was launched at the end of August, there were already many donations. As of Sept. 1, we have raised about $18,000. Work is expected to begin on the new sign in the coming months.

In addition to donating online, members and visitors can donate to the fund during the collection of offerings during weekly services. Be sure to mark on the envelope or check that the donation is for the New Electronic Sign Fund.
