What would your dream community, country, and representative democracy be like?

What if that wasn’t so far off?

Our democracy in the US is far from perfect, and at the same time it has provided us with so so much. While there’s plenty of talk about how it’s broken, there’s less talk about what we can do about it, and what we actually want it to become.

We're organizing a series of cross-partisan interventions to reignite a new sense of civic engagement in the US, and with it a renewed sense of government accountability to citizens.

Some activities and collaborations include: Next Democracy AI and Democracy Unconference (April 2026), InterdepenDance Day (July 4-5, 2026), online discussions, civic jams/hackathons, and accelerator/incubator programs to support innovative initiatives (for-profit/nonprofit/civic initiatives; high/low tech) that can boost our representative democracy, citizen-led candidate debates, communications/media campaigns to boost civic engagement nationwide, etc.

Why we're asking for support:

Right now this is a "startup effort", with very limited funding, and we think it's critically important to move smoothly while moving quickly to build momentum this year, with these critical elections coming up, and while strengthening our foundations for longer term efforts.
