Stand in the Gap: Feeding Hope This November

Because of the ongoing government shutdown, all of our maternity home guests will not receive their SNAP (food) benefits for the month of November.

In our confidential maternity home right now are four courageous women—each walking a different part of her journey toward stability and hope:

• One mother with a newborn baby, just a week old,

• Another with a one-month-old,

• One caring for her one-year-old toddler,

• And one expecting mother, preparing to welcome new life soon.

These are the faces of faith, perseverance, and love in action. They’ve chosen life. They’re working hard, learning parenting and life skills, and rebuilding trust in themselves and in God’s plan for their families.

But this month, through no fault of their own, they’ve lost their access to food assistance.

At Birthline of Loveland, we believe no mom or baby should ever face hunger—especially when they’ve already made such brave, life-affirming choices. That’s why we’re inviting our community to “Stand in the Gap.”

• $50 — covers a week of groceries for one mother and her child

• $100 — helps restock our maternity home pantry with fresh food and supplies

• $200 — feeds and equips one family for the full month
