Support Chicago Philharmonic's second annual Chinese New Year Concert & Celebration!

In February 2024, the Chicago Philharmonic partnered with the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China for an extraordinary orchestra concert honoring the Year of the Dragon. Over 1400 patrons packed the Harris Theater for Music and Dance for a concert featuring Tan Dun's Crouching Tiger Cello Suite, Li Huanzhi's Spring Festival Overture, and the Butterfly Lovers Concerto featuring pipa virtuoso Yang Wei.

In 2025, the Philharmonic and Consulate General bring the concert to the Auditorium Theatre, this time with erhu virtuoso Lingling Liang.
