To work in alignment with our values, New Hannah Farm must quickly establish a foundation of profitability. The business of farming is notorious for its thin profit margins, and the implementation of our ideals can come with a hefty price tag (especially on an island).

- Improve soil health (with regenerative growing strategies)

- Increase carbon sequestration / reduce carbon emissions

- Optimize for intensive food production

- Increase our growing season (to 10-12 months)

- Increase profit and efficiency / reduce costs and waste

- Future-poof the farm (with closed-loop systems and critical redundancy infrastructure)

- Ensure access to labor by supporting farm employees

- Establish replicable models for current and future farmers
