Dear Community Partner,

My name is James Bouyer, and it is a privilege and an honor to serve as Head Basketball Coach of the Newnan High School Lady Cougars. While I am new to the Newnan community, I bring the same pride and passion that I was welcomed with on my arrival, as that will be shown by my commitment, dedication, and care for the young ladies that I serve. I have been blessed to be a part of the basketball world from the age of 5, as it was my grandmother who placed the ball in my hands and I have been attached to the game ever since. I get great enjoyment watching young players develop through the years and achieve the goals that they set forth for themselves, as this game may provide opportunities to see places they’ve never saw and do things they never thought of, and meet people they never thought they would. My goal is to run a first-class program that represents the community of Newnan in the highest regard. Basketball has brought me from New Orleans, LA to Newnan, GA, with your support, I’m excited to see where the program goes from here.

Over the past several seasons, we’ve worked hard to build a culture of excellence, integrity, and teamwork within our program. Our mission goes beyond the court — it’s about developing confident leaders, resilient competitors, and young women who understand the value of hard work and community. Each athlete wears the Cougar jersey with pride, knowing they represent not just Newnan High School, but the entire Newnan family.

As we prepare for the 2026-2027 season, the Lady Cougars are more determined than ever to rewrite the story of Newnan Women’s Basketball and we want you to be part of that story.

The NHS Women’s Basketball Booster Club is seeking community partners to help us continue to provide the resources and experiences our players deserve. Your support — whether financial, in-kind, or through game-day attendance — directly impacts our ability to compete, grow, and represent Newnan with pride.

Your generous, tax-deductible donation helps cover vital program needs such as:

Team uniforms & travel gear
Pre-game meals and post-workout nutrition
Transportation and travel expenses
Fall & summer league games
Senior night celebrations and end-of-season banquet
Game day staffing and concessions

Every contribution, large or small, helps us build momentum and provides opportunities for these student-athletes to reach their full potential — on and off the court.

We’ve changed our sponsorship levels so you can find the best way to get involved. We’d also love to see you in the stands this season, cheering on your Lady Cougars and showing what community pride truly looks like.
