Shame, guilt, and victim blaming often prevent survivors from seeking the help they need. At Nikao Nation, we are committed to breaking down as many barriers to healing as possible. What sets us apart is our unique creative approach. Through the Live Musical Experiences, we make the difficult conversation around sexual violence more accessible. Audience members will hear and see Nikao's World, a story of a superhero who cannot be the superhero God created her to be until she heals from her sexual trauma that she's been so conveniently sweeping under the rug. The live experience takes you on her healing journey. But we don't stop at storytelling. We engage attendees in discussions and raise awareness of local resources, helping them take the next steps in their healing journey.
