Nine Years of Resistance
In 2026, the Black Alliance for Peace (BAP) marks nine years of uncompromising resistance to war, repression, and the imperialist logic of capital. Founded on April 4, 2017, BAP stands in the historic tradition of radical Black internationalism, confronting the structures of permanent war abroad and the militarized social control at home that function to manage disposable populations.
In a period defined by escalating global conflict, domestic repression, climate catastrophe, and deepening inequality, BAP has built what is urgently needed but rarely funded: an independent, anti-imperialist movement infrastructure rooted in the material conditions of oppressed peoples.
Nine years in, the stakes are higher than ever. The next phase of struggle requires your support.
Why This Moment Matters
The crisis facing humanity is systemic. It is the logical outcome of a system that treats human life as a cost to be minimized.
Across the globe and inside the United States, we are witnessing:
The expansion of war, sanctions, and military occupation as tools to secure capital.
Intensified policing, surveillance, and incarceration to contain surplus populations.
The criminalization of migration and dissent, treating displaced humans as an obstacle.
Economic warfare against Global South nations to enforce dependency.
Climate destruction driven by imperial militarism and resource extraction.
Rising authoritarian governance as consent gives way to coercion.
As U.S. global dominance erodes, the ruling class turns from consent to coercion. Organization, not outrage alone, is the decisive response.
What Your Support Has Built
Over nine years, BAP has helped construct critical pillars of resistance rooted in materialist analysis:
No Compromise, No Retreat: Confronting the war against African/Black people as the management of a surplus population in the U.S. and abroad.
U.S. Out of Africa Network: Challenging AFRICOM as the military guarantor of neocolonial plunder.
Zone of Peace work in Our Americas: Opposing U.S./NATO destabilization and asserting the right of peoples to resist imperial domination.
North-South Project for People(s)-Centered Human Rights: Building a revolutionary alternative to liberal frameworks that seek only to manage suffering.
Political education, organizing support, and international solidarity across continents.
This work builds the capacity to defeat imperialism.
9th Anniversary Campaign Goal: Raise $25,000 to Strengthen the Next Phase of Struggle
Your contribution will directly support:
Movement Infrastructure: Organizing staff, operational capacity, secure communications, and national coordination.
International Solidarity: Partnerships with movements across Africa and the Global South that resist the material logic of capital.
Political Education: Publications, toolkits, and research that sharpen our ideological critique and build cadre.
Domestic Organizing & Defense: Campaigns against the carceral state, ICE terror, and the infrastructure of domestic repression.
Why Independent Funding Matters
BAP does not rely on corporate donors or government funding that compromises political clarity. Our independence allows us to speak truthfully and act decisively. We are accountable to the people, not to foundations, parties, or state institutions.
A Message to Our Community
Nine years ago, BAP was founded because existing peace institutions refused to confront imperialism at its root. Today, the world confirms the necessity of that analysis.
The coming years will demand even greater coordination, discipline, and capacity. The machinery of death is not pausing. Neither can we.
