Families and Friends-

Our Bruin rowers have been working so hard to prepare for the Spring Regatta season but we need your help with one final fundraising effort. As most of you know, the Lake Braddock Crew Team is 100% privately funded. That means we get no financial support from tax dollars or any other money from the school or the district. We've created a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to help offset the costs so we can make the sport more affordable to all athletes. Bonus- that means that your donations are tax dedcutible.

The unfortunate reality is that crew is an expensive sport but it is truly one of the best team sports around- bringing together individual athletes of all skill levels and abilities and creating a single boat. Each boat rises and falls as a group with no one rower being better than the rower in front of or behind the person next to you. What other sport creates such an inclusive environment while challenging each other to be your best?

We are asking for your help to keep making the sport available to all athletes regardless of financial status. Committed to continuing this goal, Lake Braddock Crew has successfully raised money to keep our fees lower than any other club in the region but we need your help to continue that tradition. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation in honor of your favorite rower to help keep us competitive while lowering financial hurdles for our athletes.
