New Mercy Moms is a nonprofit that empowers mothers who have lost a child to find hope and healing in Jesus.

Through creating biblically grounded and theologically rich resources, we aim not only to support them in their journey but also to empower them to help others facing similar tragedies. The purpose of New Mercy Moms is to provide caring, biblical help and healing to comfort, equip, and empower mothers grieving the death of a child.

Our vision impacts more than individual healing, recognizing that helping a mother strengthens a family, bolsters a community, and ultimately has the potential to change the world.

As we look back at 2024, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for all that God has allowed us to accomplish in our first year as a nonprofit. With your support, we’ve made incredible strides in comforting and supporting grieving mothers in their darkest moments. Here are some of last year’s highlights and how you can help us in 2025 for an even greater impact.

2024 + 2025 Q1 Highlights:

Launched Care Boxes in March '24: Over a dozen were ordered in the first 24 hours! We’ve since sent over 200 Care Boxes to grieving mothers, delivering comfort, compassion, and reminders of how Jesus meets us in our need.
Growing Community: We now have over 1,400 subscribers in our growing email community.
Increasing Reach: About 20,000 different people visited our site in the past 30 days. Most find us through searching for Bible verses to find solace after child loss.
Launched New Video Series: In November '24, we introduced In the Valley with Jesus – a grief counseling video series, created in partnership with Christian counselors and therapists to offer biblical insights, compassion, and encouragement to those walking through grief.
Launched the Wall of Remembrance: A new online space for mothers to honor and remember their children, sharing their stories of how God has helped them after deep loss.

Growing Forward to 2025: With God’s guidance and your support, we have big plans for 2025:

Sending 200 Care Boxes: Our goal is to reach even more mothers with these tangible expressions of comfort.
New Resources: We’re currently writing a book for mothers grieving child loss and making plans to develop a grief course that will offer deeper biblical guidance and support.
Expanding the Team: To meet increasing needs, we’re looking to grow the New Mercy Moms team, adding support for finances, fundraising, marketing, and fulfilling Care Box orders.
Events and Conferences: We look forward to connecting with even more families in person, starting with the True Woman ‘25 conference by Revive Our Hearts in Indianapolis. It is in October, so there’s plenty of time to make plans to come and say hi!

How You Can Help Us Make a Rippling Impact: For 2025, our vision is to strategically grow in impactful ways to create lasting impact with a ripple effect. We’re praying for a larger goal of $40,000 to:

Send 200 more Care Boxes ($20,000)
Publish our upcoming book for grieving mothers ($10,000-$15,000)
Expand our team to better serve grieving families
