Running the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon is going to be a thrill for me for a few different reasons. I have always been an avid runner. My love for running starting as a youth, continued as I competed as a track and field athlete in college, and now I often run NYRR events and casually for fun and exercise. My passion for running has also extended into my philanthropic priorities, as I serve on the board of New York Road Runners as the Chair of the Finance & Investment Committee.

I also recently joined the board of FundPlay Foundation, a nonprofit that supports youth sports organizations that use sports as a vehicle for youth development in underserved communities. We provide them with the technology, professional development, and access to funding they need to serve their kids. I would not be where I am today without sports, in particular running. Unfortunately, far too many kids are not able to participate in youth sports due to the increasing cost of participation and lack of access to safe play spaces.
