We are honored to name the first Dream Culture Classroom Supplies Scholarship after Mrs. Elaine Tyner, a beloved retired educator from Lee County Schools, North Carolina, whose legacy of compassion, dedication, and service continues to inspire generations.

Mrs. Tyner devoted her life to nurturing young minds, not only through her work as a classroom teacher but through her deep, personal commitment to ensuring that every student—no matter their background—felt seen, supported, and equipped to succeed. She often went beyond her role to provide supplies, encouragement, and care to children in need. Her classroom was a safe haven, and her heart was always open to the families she served.

Naming this scholarship in her honor is a reflection of her lifelong belief: every child deserves the tools to learn and the support to dream. This award will help ensure that future educators and students have access to essential classroom supplies, continuing Mrs. Tyner’s legacy of equity, opportunity, and love in the classroom.

Through this scholarship, we celebrate not only Mrs. Tyner’s remarkable contributions to education but also the quiet strength and unwavering generosity that define true community leadership. Her legacy lives on in every student she touched—and now, in every student this scholarship will empower.
