Work of Heart Animal Rescue is based in Allen Park, Michigan. We were founded in July of 2022 by two women with a passion for rescue. We had not adequately anticipated the needs in our community at that time. The calls for help just kept coming. In 6 months time, we had taken in over 100 cats and 40 dogs. Each being vetted, sterilized, microchipped and adopted out.

The animal rescue community has been hit especially hard recently. Shelters and rescues are overfull. The economy is causing many donors to give less. As we are taking in animals, our budget continues to shrink. Rescue work is tireless. There is always another dog or another kitten in need. While it breaks our hearts, there are times when we have to say no, due to a lack of resources.

To help us raise funds we are holding our first annual "Spay-ghetti and No Balls Dinner". You can help us with this event by donating to our cause. We have many different options and levels of support. Through the generosity of our community we will be able to continue to grow. We would not be able to do what we do without your support.
