Founded in 2021 by two special education teachers, NOMO Worries was created to bridge the gaps families face when supporting children with autism and developmental delays. What started as a passion for advocacy has grown into a community-centered nonprofit dedicated to empowering children and supporting the families who care for them.

Since our founding, we’ve provided:

- Parent workshops covering travel, self-care for primary caregivers, IEP advocacy, and navigating special education (2024-25)

- Consultations & tutoring services (2021-current)

- Respite services for families (current)

- Food classes for children with autism (2025)

- Art therapy programs (summer sessions)

- Sponsorships for summer camps and enrichment opportunities (ongoing)

- Free back-to-school & graduation haircuts for children (ongoing, every August)

- Family-friendly fairs and festivals (varies)

- Book drives supporting classrooms in Africa (2024)

- Community outreach and advocacy services (ongoing)

Our mission is to ensure every family has access to the resources, care, and opportunities they deserve. We are committed to building independence, celebrating strengths, and creating inclusive spaces where families feel supported and empowered.
