Story
The Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires, in partnership with The Berkshire Eagle, will present the 5th Annual Berkshire Nonprofit Awards on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The awards recognize people who work tirelessly in the nonprofit sector to serve the Berkshire community.
Nominations were solicited from across the Berkshires in seven categories: Executive Leadership, Board Leadership, Rock Star (formerly Super Staffer), Unsung Hero, Volunteer, Lifetime Achievement, and Samya Rose Stumo Youth Leadership.
A panel of 21 judges from the business and nonprofit sectors has chosen one honoree in each of the 7 categories from among nearly 90 nominations. We are pleased to announce this year's group of amazing honorees!
The Breakfast Club consists of local businesses and individuals who want to show their support for everyone who works in the Berkshire nonprofit world.
Your support will be noticed! You love nonprofits and you don’t care who knows it! We’ll shout your name from the social media rooftops, during the virtual event, and in The Berkshire Eagle Awards Supplement that mails to 20,000 people!
Your support is very critical! It allows us to produce an uplifting event that honors 7 individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to making our community a better place for all. Each of them will be profiled in The Berkshire Eagle supplement! That’s a lot of recognition for them and their organizations.
Even better! A portion of your gift supports 25 valuable programs and services for nonprofits including workshops, coaching, networking, volunteer fairs and more. You become our partner in helping nonprofits thrive, especially during these challenging times.
But wait, there’s more! With your support, we can continue making a real difference in our community helping nonprofit leaders connect to resources like pro bono consultants, assisting grassroots organizations doing amazing work, collecting important benchmark date, and facilitating communication and collaboration. Note: Business Sponsors at the $250 level become automatic members of the NPC, recognized and promoted throughout the year. Individual donors are also recognized in various publications throughout the year.
You can almost smell the coffee!
