We have thrilling news! Rehearsal for Life is a recipient of the Arts Education Award at the 42nd Annual Elliot Norton Awards. There's never been a more electric time for our community to unite! This extraordinary recognition amplifies our momentum—join us in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration as we honor our achievements and fuel our future impact!

Rehearsal for Life uses theater as a vehicle for social change. Our programs help students practice self-expression and creative decision-making in life’s most challenging moments.

Our most extensive program, Urban Improv, is free to students and serves 1,100 youth in 50+ classrooms across 6 partner Boston Public Schools. Freelance Players, our after-school performing arts program, offers sliding-scale tuition to 140+ participating families, creating a pathway for affordable after-school musical theater.
