NSBE in Bloom: Scholarship Fundraiser

Since its founding by six visionary leaders in 1975, the National Society of Black Engineers has grown to more than 20,000 members globally, blossoming into a leading force in the lives of technical professionals and students on college campuses worldwide. The Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers was established in 1992 and is focused on developing leaders in engineering and technology through training, professional development, mentoring opportunities, and career placement services. We strive to partner with local corporations, other professional organizations, and our collegiate student chapters in the Dallas Fort-Worth Metroplex to increase the pipeline of engineering and technical professionals. We are writing to invite you to partner with us in this vital mission by supporting our upcoming Scholarship Gala.

This year, we are aiming toward significant scholarships to high school and collegiate students from across the DFW metroplex. These talented individuals represent the future leaders in STEM, and we are committed to helping them achieve their academic aspirations. Our goal for this year's gala is to award up to $35,000 in scholarships, directly investing in the education and potential of these promising students.

We are incredibly proud to share that NSBE DFW Professionals has been recognized for our dedication and impact, receiving the prestigious awards of 2024 National Professional Chapter of the Year and 2024 Region V Professional Chapter of the Year at the NSBE 50th Annual Convention in Chicago! This national recognition underscores our commitment to excellence and our proven track record of supporting the Black STEM community.

The Scholarship Gala will be an inspiring evening bringing together community leaders, STEM professionals, educators, and passionate supporters like you. It will be an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students and contribute directly to their educational journeys.
