Nevertheless She Preached exists to elevate and center female, queer, and BIPOC voices who offer transformative theologies of liberation and critical reflection of our social and religious contexts. We provide safe space for faith leaders and justice makers to be valued in community as their authentic selves and to experience healing. Together we pursue freedom from the toxic power of patriarchy, colonization, racism, and heteronormativity.

2025 asked a lot of us at Nevertheless She Preached—more than we expected, more than we planned for, and more than we could have carried alone.
And yet, our community kept showing up.

We gathered for our first ever retreat, which was phenomenal, and we can't wait to do it again. 
We gathered in cohorts centered around queerness, dialogical preaching, and reimagining church. 
We're gearing up for the 2026 conference.

We kept creating spaces of safety, imagination, and liberation for people who rarely find it elsewhere.
