About the Program

You can light up a child’s world with the joy of the season.

Embracing the true meaning of social responsibility, the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is once again teaming up with our community in 2025 to bring the spirit of Christmas to nearly 400 families and nearly 1,000 children. For 35 years, the YMCA Neighbor to Neighbor Christmas Program has provided families in need with the joys of a traditional Christmas. With your support, each family will receive:

Families receive a live Christmas tree (if requested) and ornaments to decorate their home
A holiday dinner to gather around and share
Books and toys to spark imagination and joy
A free full season of youth sports or aquatics
Invitations to all YMCA Family Fun Events throughout the year
